Keith Center for Civil Rights and a Professor of Law at Wayne State University Law School, shares the story of civil rights icon George W. Crockett Jr. with words and pictures. Crockett takes you on a journey from labor struggles in the 30s and 40s, through the Red Scare and the Civil Rights Movement, through Detroit’s urban struggles and the fight against Apartheid. Following the talk, Peter J. Hammer will be signing books.
