Jack Ridl, author of Practicing to Walk Like a Heron, and David James will be at Great Lake Commonwealth of Letters to read two or three poems at a time (back and forth) related to a series of topics such as Family, Nature, Love, Faith, Dreams/Wishes, Death, Music/Art, and Joy. During the course of the reading the audience will experience these different artistic perspectives on similar topics and afterwards have a chance to ask questions pertaining to the presented work. Thus, the poets will be "in conversation" with each other, as well as the audience, with the hope of uncovering a little bit of truth in the process. Join the conversation!
