WSU Press is located on the campus of Wayne State University in the heart of Midtown Detroit, one block south of Warren Ave. and two blocks south of the Detroit Institute of Arts and the Detroit Public Library.

Metered parking is available on Woodward Ave. in front of the Press. There are pay stations for these meters that accept coins, bills, and credit cards. Metered parking is also available on Hancock St. but you must bring quarters (only; the Press cannot provide them) for these meters, which have a 1 hour time limit.

You can also take advantage of complimentary parking that is available at the WSU parking structure located behind the WSU Barnes & Noble bookstore/Welcome Center on Warren Ave. The garage entrance is on Putnam.

To have your parking validated you must use this Welcome Center garage and enter in the last of three entrances, marked "guest and visitor parking"; parking via either of the other two entrances or in another university structure cannot be validated. Bring your parking stub to the Press where we will validate it for you.
